Prof. Piątkowski, cames from Poznań (Prof. Wiktor Dega MD PhD) and established the Orthopaedic Department in Lublin in 1954 (7th December 1954). My teacher in orthopaedics for many years - in students-, in assistant-time (since 1963) and later.
